Today is a day where I appreciate you even more than I already do. I think I can’t thank you enough for simply being you. The thing is, you don’t even have to say “I love you Yin” or “I am so proud of you”. I just know you do everytime you look at me. I just know you do by the simple questions you ask me daily like “What time does your school starts?”. I’m grateful God gave you the responsibility to be my dad. Not only have you taken that serious, you’re also my superhero and an amazing example. These blessings are sometimes overwhelming. Thank you for teaching me how to work hard, be disciplined and to always think about others, even when you’re having a hard time yourself. You just keep on being strong. You taught me this not by words but by actually doing it.
I will cherish every moment I still have with you because I know you’re getting older. I promise to take care of you since you were the one who took care of me first. Now it’s time to switch roles dad. Sometimes I think about the future and I just can’t imagine my life without you. Sometimes I close my eyes and imagine you not being there and it already hurts so much. I pray you will stay healthy and young forever because I need you by my side during every single event that still needs to take place.
