Guard your heart.

This one goes out to all my ladies. lol.

Just want to share something about our most favorite topic to talk about; love. Many people asking me this question: how could you be single for so long (haha), well the answer is quite simple.. I love my heart. Ofcourse, we all want to find our 'soulmate' but do you actually know the true meaning of having a partner? Or is the definition just based on thoughts about a person you can cuddle, talk hours on the phone or have lunch with? Society puts up a movie-centered image where lots of girls put their hope in. And yes I'm a sucker for romance too, but who says that all the crap around it is a part of love?

Guard your heart because it's the most valuable thing you owe in life. I've seen many people around me who think they need love, (not knowing that actually God is love so what they really need is Him) and yep, they open up, give their all and end up broken hearted. Try to reminisce about love for a sec and think about your definition of it. Love is not a temporarily feeling, love conquers all, it lasts forever. If you can see how He sees you, you would know how precious and valuable you are. Then you'll realize what you actually deserve and you will never ever settle down for less just because you want to be taken for other people's eyes sake. I believe we all want to give our future partner the BEST of us, so stop trying to make it work with people you know it eventually won't. Stop wasting both of your time and give your heart a break. Love yourself first! This part I love the most; to love yourself. I don't mean that you have to be over-confident and end up being cocky, no not at all. Meaning that you know you don't need anyone to make it happen. Don't just settle because you think that person will 'complete' you or take away your insecurities. You are already complete because God makes you complete:). I hope you will love your heart as much as I love my heart! And for everyone who have been through a heartbreak; keep your head up! You're beautiful and you deserve the VERY best!

Love, Yin
