This morning I was reading scripture and I felt like sharing something small to begin the day with.
I know that many of you are struggling today. I know many of you feel trapped, oppressed or are carrying a burden you don’t want to carry. I know many of you are in a (dry) season where you feel lost or far away from God.
And hey, I hope you’ll meditate on what God is saying today because your soul needs to be reminded of the promises He's given us. Be encouraged and don't waste a day being miserable. You're too precious for that!
Psalms 23:1-6
The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.
He makes me lie down in green pastures,
He leads me beside quiet waters,
He refreshes my soul.
He guides me along the right paths for His name’s sake.
Even though I walk through the darkest valley
I will fear no evil, for You are with me;
Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.
You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies.
You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.
Surely Your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
Yes, there is a God who cares for you. He wants to refresh you and comfort you. He sees your struggles, your pain, your questions. Start your day with praise and seek Him and you will see God’s glory work in your life. Cause what comes up must come down right?
Let love take over your burden and be free in Jesus.
